Stephanie, founder of Pitter Patter bebe, and mama to Jesse and Iris, launched Pitter Patter bebe after finding that there was a gap in the market for high quality luxury baby wear that was unique in design whilst still encompassing a simplistic yet classic design approach with attention to detail.
With extensive background experience as a Fashion Designer; working for such brands as Paul Smith, J Crew and Ted Baker, Stephanie decided to launch Pitter Patter Bebe to translate her vision, ethos and experience into a premium baby wear range which are all designed uniquely by her.
Working with some of the top brands, Stephanie’s knowledge of buying and production are indispensable. She assures me that all the fabrics and yarns she uses have been extensively sourced, using only the highest standard of natural fibres. They are also Eco-Tex Standard which means there are no Chemicals or pesticides used in the development of the yarn, which makes the yarn a great choice for babies with eczema or sensitive skins. And a little secret… she uses a factory in Portugal that produces for a very haute couture French fashion house, but I can’t tell you, otherwise i’d need to kill you!!!!!! That’s the level of quality that we are talking about!
“Each quality has been specifically selected for its performance and properties in relation to babies gentle needs , Super Soft, Machine Washable, non irritant and adapt to baby’s body temperature. All knitwear is fully fashioned , which is machine knitted individually then linked together resulting in a high end quality garment. Not only do the garments look exceptional in design they are also practical and comfortable for baby to move and grow.”
Pitter Patter bebe is still such a small brand so Stephanie can only produce in small quantities which means that sometimes, colour yarns have to change according to what she has available.
